The Brief
We were tasked to create an engaging guidebook for the Directors of Financial Institutions to evaluate their board of Directors making it intuitive, relevant, and captivating. This guidebook should provide clear, actionable insights and be designed in a way that holds the audience's attention, ensuring they find it both useful and compelling.
The Idea
As we advance into a more digital age, the concept behind our publication was to craft a resource that is both forward-looking and modern, yet respectful of the fact that many of our target readers have more traditional preferences. To achieve this balance, we combined earthy tones with sleek, contemporary layouts and thematic images that resonate with both old and new aesthetics.
The language used throughout the guidebook was carefully tailored to ensure it spoke directly to Directors, using terminology and a tone that they could easily relate to and understand. This thoughtful approach aimed to bridge the gap between innovation and tradition, making the content accessible and engaging for all readers.
Recognising the diverse preferences of our audience, we produced the guidebook in two formats: a digital version for those who prefer the convenience and accessibility of online resources, and a print version for those who favor the tactile experience of a physical book. By offering these options, we ensured that every Director could access the guidebook in the manner most comfortable and effective for them.
The Result
• Exclusive print run of 1000 copies
• Guidebook received by over 400 Financial Institutions in Malaysia
• Improved governance structures and an increase in productivity of Financial Institutions in Malaysia
